SXSW Day 5: Running Into @10thWardBuck at South Bites

SXSW Day 5 119
Given South By Southwest’s post-Katrina love affair with bounce rap, particularly the “sissy bounce” subgenre, it’s not completely unexpected to run into bounce artists from New Orleans during the festival. Still, somehow, 10th Ward Buck was the last person I expected to run into at the South Bites food court near Rainey Street.

SXSW Day 5: Friday Evening on Rainey Street

After I left the art party, I walked down Rainey Street looking for something to get into, or perhaps for something to eat. I debated walking back over to South Austin to eat at Mrs. P’s Electric Cock chicken place, but then I recalled that there was another location of it this year in the South Bites lot adjacent to Rainey Street, so I walked over there and took a look around, but finally decided to walk back up to Moonshine Patio for dinner.
